Class Retreats

This is a fun and unique way to meet other parents, your student’s classmates, and their teachers. Retreats would not be possible without our incredible parent volunteers! Interested in volunteering?

ALL adult volunteers must attend a VIRTUS training forum designed to recognize and prevent the abuse of children.

Parent's Club Opportunities

The Parents’ Club is both a service and social organization. Our role is to support the SJA administration and encourage a strong parent community. We do this by volunteering and helping oversee many of the special events at the school. If you would like to volunteer your time, please consider signing up for one or more of the volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer roles would potentially require a 6-month time commitment, which includes monthly meetings. These various committees are the silent auction, live auction, sponsorships, food, decorations, marketing, acquisitions, etc. There is something for everyone! We NEED you!

Serve day is student-created, led, and defended. It originated from a group of determined students who wanted to live true to the mission of our school: “virtuously in the service of others.” It has continued to be lived out each year since by the Student Leadership class, which organizes a day where both students and staff go out to serve our brothers and sisters in the greater Kansas City community. We would love for you to join us for this day!
