All Freshmen and Transfer students and Senior Captains are required to attend; all other seniors are invited to help lead this day but not required to come.

    • All School Mass 8:45 a.m.
    • Dismissal 12:30 p.m.
    • Wear school uniform
    • Do not bring a laptop, lunch, or backpack.

August 11, 12, and 15th – Senior College Application Workshops

  • Seniors can get a jumpstart on college applications by attending one of the workshops.
    • For Common Application sessions, click here. For direct-to-institution application sessions, click here. Space is limited.

August 18th and 19th – School Pictures

  • Freshmen – Junior students will wear their school uniforms for the pictures. Pictures will be taken during the school day.
  • SENIORS – Attire is as follows:
    • Boys wear SJA white button down shirt and SJA tie with uniform pants; navy jacket will be provided.
    • Girls wear your school uniform; a navy sweater and pearl necklace will be provided.

August 20th (Saturday) – Fall Sports Parent Meeting, Pictures & Scrimmage Day (8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)

  • If your student is participating in a fall sport, at least one parent is required to attend.
  • An email will be sent out from your coach with specifics.

August 24th – Back To School Night (7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m.)

  • Additional information will be sent out in the weekly Community Update.

August 30th – Senior Parent Night

  • 6:30 p.m. – 7:15 p.m – General Financial Aid Information Presentation by K-State.
  • 7:20 p.m. -7:45 p.m. – Senior College Application Timeline
  • 7:50 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. – Graduation and Project Graduation information

September 8th – Kansas City Private High Schools’ College Night (6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.)

NOTE LOCATION – Rockhurst High School Gym

  • Over 75 colleges will be attending this event. Registration information will be available in August.

Fall 2022 tryout/practice information

  • Please make sure that you have a physical (dated after May 1, 2022) and a concussion form submitted online through PRIVIT.  You will not be allowed to tryout/practice if all paperwork is not submitted.

Physical & Concussion Forms

  • In order for your student to tryout/practice/participate in a sport a Physical and Concussion form dated after May 1, 2022, must be submitted online through PRIVIT. Failure to turn in this form by the deadline will result in tryout ineligibility.

    • Hard copies of physical and concussion forms will not be accepted.

    • Fall sports begin on Monday, August 15th.

  • All students will need the following: TI84 Calculator, Personal Earbuds, Pocket folders, Paper, Pens and Pencils.
  • Class-specific school supplies will be given by each teacher the first week of school.
