Student Finals Protocols

1. All students must come to all Finals hours other than the following exceptions:
   1. Your Study Hall/Seminar/Study Hour period.
   2. If you have waived the final for that class.
2. Even if you did a project or some other form of summative assessment to count as the final in that class, you still need to come and have some sort of review or other educational activity that day. These count as school days towards our required hours.
3. Students cannot change what hour they are taking a final. If there is a family situation necessitating a change in the administration of a final, parents need to contact Dr. Rapp to get approval for the change before contacting the teacher.
4. All students have to stay the whole exam time each hour in order to maintain the testing environment in the building.
5. All students in good standing will receive a waiver the week before finals in the front office. They may waive the final in a class in which they have an 89.5% or above IF accepted by the teacher. Seniors get an additional waiver for a class in which they have a 94.5% or above. You need to turn those in to your teacher by the last day in class in order to waive the final.
