St. James Academy Congratulates Jason Cole on Election as President of the East Central District of the Kansas Music Educators Association

[Lenexa, KS, 5/6/24] – St. James Academy proudly celebrates the election of Jason Cole, Choir Director, as President of the East Central District of the Kansas Music Educators Association (KMEA).

“On February 24th, 2024, I assumed the role of President of the East Central District of the Kansas Music Educators Association (KMEA). I was humbled and honored to accept this two-year elected position,” said Jason Cole, Director of Choirs for St. James Academy.

With over 20 years of experience as a music educator in the state of Kansas, Jason Cole brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to his new role. The East Central District, encompassing Johnson, Franklin, Osage, and Miami Counties, holds a vital place in shaping the future of music education in Kansas.

“I am looking forward to representing all of the music teachers in our district as a voting member of the state board,” added Jason Cole.
